Description

A large icicle during the winter. I really love the clarity that the winter coldness brings to the California atmosphere.

Call me a cranky traditionalist, but I'm not sure this angle works for me. It's such an incredible icicle, I'd sorta like to see it in a standard vertical frame. With this, I keep tilting my head to orient myself. I love the subject and the colors.

This is one of those pic that autmatically make me bend my head to the left. Can't help it, that's what always happens :-) Anyway it's a great shot, hope you didn't get a cold after taking it.
