BobbyStahr aka Robert Purves was seduced into computers late in life(age 45) by a free Amiga 1000 that I needed to transcribe music with. When that was done one thing led to another and 18 months later due to a need for speed and Imagine porting over I jumped to a pc. Never looked back happy to say. I play no games, have no business software, just art and music. BIO I use Imagine a lot, Photoshop quite a bit, Vue6I PLE a bit also, and have played a bit with the free ver. of Cinema4D, and am recently enamored of the new TG 3 Free. I also write copious amounts of music in an awesome and inexpensive music writing software called MelodyAssistant, available at http://www.myriad-online.com The hyphen is part of the URL. Highly reccomended to anyone, musician or not. I got into art from sports at an early age when I discovered I was more into cooperation than competition...my mission statement is" Never go straight.....Go Forward...."

Looks neat, Bobby. (Wish my kitchen was that big, instead of a small box!) The view-point makes it look like it was taken from a CCTV.

Very nice scene! Here is my "Helpful" comment : The only things I don't like are the black areas, near the floor : On the armchair, under the table, door side, beside the oven. We need more light at these place, maybe ambient or fill-in.

Kevin...it's actually smaller(10'x15')than it looks...camera angle adjusted t get the whole island table in,tho smaller here in the wild wild west is likely HUGE in terms o british sized rooms if the old photos of a friend's house in MuswellHills is representative.Manuel....sigh i know...all the lights were originally full SoftShadow, but i wanted exterme AA so i sacrificed iterations on the softshadow(set to 23 instead of the default)and the lovely grey shadows went away with the "jaggies". As always, 3D is often a trade off depending on what you want to see,..in this case the kitchen layout with the new island table was most important as i showed it to my cabinet maker pal so he could give me a quote and he didn't notice the "black" unreal shadowing...lol....when i finish building the rest of my current furniture i plan on doing a series of stills as a static walk thru...for planning future renos on this old house, which i'll post here, and i'll get the lighting "up to snuff" for those....thanx for the comments
