Description

A bottle of ketchup, or catsup, however you want to spell it. Done in lightwave, slight pre-texture alterations on the pics in photoshop. I modelled it after a ketchup bottle i saw online. Anyhoo, please Please Please rate this and leave comments, i need all the help i can get. There are no copyright infringements in this image! i have carefully erased any trademark surfaces and replaced them with my name, and anyhow it's a japanese ketchup bottle.

Dan the man davis is wrong. There is NOTHING wrong with this image, imperfections (like specular highlights being too strong) are what adds realism. The world is an imperfect place. Great Work!!!

OK, I'll give cingram the benefit of the doubt on the highlights, but still, have you ever seen transparent katsup?? :-) I still think this is good BTW. :-)

Indeed, ketchup (catsup, katchup katsup whatever) isn't transparent, thanks for pointing that out! I'll keep this in mind... next up, mustard (just kidding)

Terrific work. Too late... you've already said it, now you've got to do some mustard next, then mayo... heck... you might as well model an entire burger.

It's great! First I thought there shouldn't be paper cap, but then again since discovering olive oil I haven't bought any ketchup.. :) It is a paper cap on top of plastic one?

This is really good work. I can see some polygon edges in the render. You may want to up your subpatch level for the final render. The consistancy of the plastic seems to be a bit like murky glass.

Great pop art. I'm stripping off, feel a little over dressed. M
