What can I say, Distorted Beauty inspired me to attampt this...granted, it's nowhere NEAR the quality of their work (Still working out how to actually achieve what I want in the 3D realm...might actually get it one of these days.)

This is wild. I'm not at all sure what you were trying to achieve, as I am unfamiliar with your source of inspiration, but I must say that there is a very strong appeal to this image.
