Description

Just one of my first attempts at modeling and texturing in Lightwave. Inspired by my six-year-old niece, who picked the colors and flowers.

Fantastic. It's fabulous. If you have the time or the inkling you could add little bubbles to the coffee or some volumetric smoke. It awsome without it though!

Thank-you, all. I did try my hand at steam/smoke, but I still haven't gotten the hang, yet. I will continue to work on it. Also, does anyone else think the mug handles are too thick? Maybe something less "coffee mug" and more "tea cup"?

Excellent work. I do have to agree that tea cups would look better than mugs, but my compliments go to the little girl on her taste in floral designs and colors. :o) Please post more.

Slosh, since you mention the mug handles are too thick then the coffee pot handle is a little too thin, no? If you did not mention it, i would have not noticed it. Maybe smaller and taller cups would look more gentle. Wonderful job. I want more of your designs please.

Excellent model, this is incredibly detailed. I like the ceramic texture on the cups and the pot. You might try fluting the cups out, maybe to look more like traditional tea cups, but even without it it is an awesome render. I love the realism on this one.
