Description

This pic was taken with a Canon AE-1 with a 200mm zoom lens attached to the 2x tele-converter. On top of that, I affixed one of my friend's 28mm Nikon lens reversed at the end of the 400mm setup. This allowed me to zoom in on a ruler and measure about 3mm. The pic above is a button on a cell phone. Probably about 1 square centimeter in size. Not too bad for an extremely rudimentary setup. Tell me what you think. [Next Image] [Previous Image]

Really interesting. I just recently figured out how to get a decent macro out of my digi cam. This is impressive.

interesting technique, pretty closeup, interesting subject matter. This reminds me, I have tried using a 10 dollar "pocket" microsope that I purchased from Radio Shack. I positioned and held my digital camera over the microsope eye piece(so the camera lens barely sets on top of the microscope eye piece). I had to use an extra light(led keychain I believe) shining underneath on the subject matter of plant matter of focus, and took few attempts, but sometimes came out ok.

That is probably the biggest button I have seen and will ever see :)
