Description

In her dream, the black wizard Atrocus appeared before her, a small, bitter, gnarled man. He told her that the demon Astoggoth had cursed him a century before, as a punishment for stealing a potent magical artifact from the demon's domain. When she had opened the forbidden book, that same curse had become hers. She must go to the Valley of Ashes, whispered the wizard in a dry rasp, and confront Astoggoth. Only by defeating him there could she, and he, be freed from the curse forever. The Journeyman Mage saga is nearing its end... Thank you all! For the record, there's no postwork in this image, other than the logo and title. The lighting effects are actually Vue procedural materials using some complicated transparencies and glows.
