Description
Gimli has always been one of my favorite characters (next to aragorn and legolas of course) so i decided to give a try at a portrait of him. I mixed and matched armor from freestuff, along w/ my adventurers suit--wich is a lifesaver. Thanks to serrge for the chainmail texture, and for that bel strap around he chest, also thanks to ivyroses for the armor (in freestuff) and kelc for gimlis helm and axe (also freestuff) also i painted the beard in ps.

Just saw the movie for the first time lastnight (yeah I know, I need to get out more). But I knew who it was soon as I saw the thumb. i.e. you did a great job!! Really nice work all around, and a wonderful job of construction from random pieces.
