BIO
I suppose that I'm somewhat of a Walter Mitty. By day a (occasionally) mild mannered Design engineer working for a major civil helicopter manufacturer. By night a tall, dashing Virtual CG photographer of the virtual places and beautiful women inside my head. I currently reside in the wonderful northern barbarian (ask my friends from Texas) town of Montreal, Canada. Feasting, quaffing and appreciating beautiful women - hey someone's got to do it! Thanks for looking!

Nice job! I would consider doing something with the textures (emblems, insignias, etc.).
Also, with it being that hazy (and therefore moist), see if you could make contrails coming of the ships--something that adds to their motion through the atmosphere.

Whoa! Here goes the Sprawl! (Sorry, I'm reading Gibson again, got a little carried off :)) __ Beautiful cityscape, excellent image.

Modeling is great. Just make some more interesting textures and it'll rock!

wow..took off right past me and into the high-detail stuff..It's really a handy program for quick models..looks like it's paying off handsomely..;)

shayhurs, haze does not always mean moist just some type of fine particulate (ie aerosolized pollution in this case was what I intended, good point though) Sparcman, problem is how Doga outputs its dxf groupings. If I can figure a way to break them up or map them, then I will work up better textures (ie insig and stuff). Also one problem is that this is a reduced size jpeg (the original is sized for my wall paper) as well so the texture details suffer a bit.

Fantastic image. Maybe just a couple of numbers on the ships, circa Enterprize style might give more realistic credibilty. The image rocks just the same!! and possibly some lazer propulsion trails. Good job.
