This was done using Bryce 4 and JASC Paint Shop Pro 6.02. Let me know what you think. (It's my first endeavor doin 3-D text work with Bryce)

Not bad a little jagged but this is the effect you wanted to do you also can do this in the terrain editor in Bryce(Does anyone know if you can use a wacom tablet in Bryce?instant message foleypro) just create a land mass then go into the terrain editor click on new, then setup your pointer,elevation,brush size,grid size ect. then draw what you want smooth it or whatever then click on the check mark and there you go just slap a texture on it and render dont forget to save.. save.. save...

If you wan't a clean text look in bryce download Elefont from http://www.armanisoft.ch It is a freeware program that will export DXF format 3D text
