Description

In the wee small hours of the morning I pulled out this piece, which I started quite awhile ago and tried to finish it off as my little one tried to fight off the pain of new teeth coming in. I think her hair is too "big", but perhaps it does give that wild feel I was going for. Thanks, as always, for your comments! Now she looks like a night creature...so forlorn, too. Hey, I love Big Hair, especially if it's windblown. So this is very cool to me. Nothing like art to drive the blues/blahs away!!!! I'm loving this, so guess it's the "silver lining" to teething pains. Ah, the Human Condition, and those steps and Stages of Man we must all pass through....:O)

Great mood and atmosphere. I quite like the big hair - adds a bit of drama to the image. Really nice, Anna. Hope little one is feeling better!

Very nice atmosphere, and I think the hair looks great.. you should paint more hair. Next time, try taking just a touch of the ambient environment color (browns in this case) and using it very transparently on the skin. It makes the scene look a bit more pulled together. Good work though. =)

Hauntingly beautiful, I love the contrast of her skin again everything else, and I think the hair looks great, what a wonderful atmosphere and mood you've created! I hope the little one gets to feelin better real soon...[[hugs]]
