Description

First in a series of images based on the cities in The Sims Online. I found that hidden on the CD is the elevation data of each city, so after MUCH trial and error I figured out how to convert this data to a format readable by Terragen (it requires nearly two dozen steps). I then created various colors of beach, grass, trees, rock and snow to colorize the terragen images similar to the colors used in the game and thus I have a realistic image of a city landscape that people live and play in. Thought these are good enough to be worth sharing with the renderosity.com crowd. I'll pass along one image per city as I go. My web site has the complete collection: http://www.geocities.com/arianebarnes/index.html?sims_online.htm

Agree with Tibbe, i guess "Celebrity Survivor" was'nt such a good idea after all; cool render though, maybe darken the sand a little and move the bloo...er...patches up towards the center of the islands, Cheers, ;-)
