I am ever more impressed by the output from Terragen. There are so many things that are "exactly right" here: the foam, the seaweed, the accumulation of larger stones on the seafloor just where waves would break, footprints in the sand. There are so many careful details of observation here-- I am really impressed!! Because so many details are right, the one small one that isn't jumps out --to my eye, anyway. The area of wet sand is a perfect strip. Nothing perfectly regular looks natural. What you'd expect to see is that water from waves, even ripples, will come further up the beach in areas of lower elevation. Also the waves themselves will create ares where water jets further (because waves pile up on each other), and other areas were the waves are out of phase.
