Lovely painting. Has great motion and you've captured a translucent quality in the waves. Beautiful colors, too. CC

My dear friend Melany - I apologize for not getting back to you on the first rendition of this - your very first tablet render - but I was busy finishing off my "Farewell My Friends" Upload at 3 a.m. my time - after which I was tired and went to bed. However - I see you already improved upon your first attempt by the addition of the gorgeous rock formation with the circled opening. This whole image has a very effective mood to it, and you've done an exceptional job on the restless sea. I truly love your choice of a color palette as it adds a true dimension of both night and ocean. For a first tablet painting sweetie - this rates an 'excellent' and a definite vote. When I check back in on Renderosity in about 6 months or so - I know this render will seem dim in comparison to what you will be turning out then. Stay well dear lady and keep pushing your dreams.

A grade work. Your sense of lighting is outstanding. My only comment is that from foreground to background the image retains a constant blurry effect. Sharpening up detail in the foreground would help achieve some focal depth. The rock silhouette against the sky is superb. Excellent work.

Mel....this is very pretty! I have always found waves and water very difficult to render. The sea has always been my favorite landscape. You did an excellent job girlfriend!
