Description

As everything must have an antipode, so too do the Mistwalkers. They are the Dawnchasers. A secretive order found primarily on the isle of Lyrr off the southwestern coast of Mirak, this sect opposes the Mistwalkers and their use of the mist and the darkness that it brings. They sing tales of using the light to drive out the night and bring a new order to the Runners. Few have listened to this movement and the number of Dawnchasers are scant. The current head of the order is a young Runner named Shardis. She discovered the power of the Light soon after her people arrived in the new land. Word of her power spread among the people, and while they do not like the feeling of change and many regard her as a witch or charlatan, the younger generation, those born in this land, are starting to feel their time has come.
