Spent the time in Paint Shop getting the background blacker... Turned out pretty well. I think I'll end up doing all of my black fill in post...

I take it you're using Prismacolour markers? I have a set myself that I've been using a lot (mine are soft greys, a little different than what you seem to have) and I've found that the black (PSM-98) takes some practice before it goes on REALLY black. Get yourself a Sharpie for solid blacks -- you can get them in the same bouble-ended (bullet and fine point) as the Prismas.

I have a partial set of Cool Grey, and I'm really starting to like them a lot. Thanks for the tip, I have a TON of sharpies laying around the office, I'll give it a try!
