hehe, daleks are cool I really never understood why anyone would think they were scary, but I still like em :)

Tip of the week. If faced by an unfriendly Dalek, find some stairs and go up or down, whichever is appropriate, and you will be safe. Maybe we should run a contest on modifying daleks so that a simple staircase wont be their undoing. A CGI Doctor Who would be good.

In "Remembrance of the Daleks" the last Dalek serial produced for the series, the Doctor orders his companion to do just that, run up the stairs. He follows, stumbles, turns, and to his horror, discoveres the cybernetic creatures have finally solved that age old problem. They levitate on a repulser field! When Spielberg stil had his thumbs in the pie, discussion was made about introducing "spider Daleks." The cases would have possessed arachnid-like legs for traversing rough terrain. Unfortunately, Speilberg focused on other projects and we got the Fox movie instead. 8-P Sincerely, Bill

Great stuff. Actually Redfern they could always go upstairs. It's just that the BBC couldn't afford to show it. Watch The Chase and you'll see Daleks on several decks of the Mary Celeste. Check www.who3d.com for some nice Spider Dalek animations.
