Name: Christopher L. Braun
Alias: Pantheransl, PSL, Pantheran Sex Lord
Age: 16
3d Exp: Less then a year
Programs: Lightwave, Bryce, Anim8or, Paint Shop Pro
Hobbies: Drawing, 3d art, racing, gaming, 2d/3d animation, animeBIO I first discovered 3d when a friend of mine told me about Anim8or less then a year ago. After using An8 for about 5 months I decided to purchase Lightwave and Bryce. Im still getting used to both of them, so An8 is still my favorite by far even though it cant do as much.
I also enjoy drawing with pencil. My first drawings were inspired by one of my highschool teachers' super hero ninja he made up. Me and him were always joking around so one day I made up my own ninja to beat the crap out of his. After drawing the picture and giving it to him he drew his ninja beating the crap out of mine, go figure. Since then I've become interested in anime, super hero cartoons, and drawing.
My 2d digital art expierience started after I began using An8 which didnt come with all those cool looking presets that come with Lightwave. I bought Paint Shop Pro and started making my own textures and even wrote some simple tutorials for others who wanted to make there own textures. Some other things I like to do in Paint Shop Pro are to make desktop backgrounds and forum avatars. I also like to do vector stuff, but im getting to that.
During my first month of using An8 somone told me about 3d Fightclub (www.3dfightclub.com). I have gained a lot of expierience and knowledge from doing the challenges there. My favorites were always the hardcore dailies because I didnt have to worry about people with high end programs working their rendering and lighting magic and putting me out of competiton. I have won the normal daily challenge before though. A user at 3dFC named Prophet had a challenge to make a 2d vector character. I had always wondered how to make art like what his looked like(I discovered that you used vectors). So since that challenge I've been toying around with 2d vectors.
While I'm not at home playing games, watching tv, or doing art, Im at the race track. I race somthing called sprint karts. They are like a professional version of fun karts. Everyone thinks thats what they are if they just see a picture one. But actually they go faster and there is a lot of work involved in setting up the kart to make it handle good for the track you are at and the weather conditions.

it's nice.. try toadd a bit more shades to give depth and realism to the face. Anyway, the proportions are well done :) keep it up .)

I suggest that when you're drawing always keep a small mirror with you so you can see the shape of a face. meli is right about the proportions though. With a mirror you can see where to add shadows and how to place the eyes, as well as the shape of the face.
