Description


This is the remnants of a magnolia blossom from a tree in my yard. Weird huh? I'd never realized how strange they looked this close. I tried to get a fresh bloom but they were too high in the tree and I havn't learned to fly yet. ;)

for almost 2 years I couldn't even stay at a yard froma magnolia.. I was allergic exactly at what this picture shows. not anymore.. but I must admit, I never guessed the world inside the flower could be this amazing.Great picture :)

Very very beautiful photo, Sunny!! Excellent macro work also!! You should come to Memphis, here there are 1 or 2 magnolia trees in every yard along with weeping willows and Spanish moss. Super photography!!

Magnolia trees are cool, they grow all over my campus. The pistils look like they have little tongues sticking out, I guess those are called anthers.
