Still working on caustics in Brazil. God, I'm starting to love the Brazil renderer. :)

It's an animation I'm working on. I'll be rendering it tonight, it will take about 4-6 hours in total, propably. I will be using it as intro and demonstrational movie for my website. :)

u know someone once told me caustics was a major waste of time.... now that i see these images... I cant see why they would be a major waste of time.... nice work dude...

Caustics certainly aren't a waste of time. The one that told you knows nothing. As serious artist you should make EVERYTHING worth your time, and never dismiss anything on forehand. No professional artist takes pride in prejudice. (it's my motto).
Anyway caustics are such a great way of adding realism to scenes. You should see the lens roll around in the anim and the caustics do their work.. jummy. :)

I spend many hours to figure how to make this kind of stuff in Brazil and now i know that it`s worth our time... This is nice caustics, i just wait to see the intro.

Actually the only thing you have to do is turn 'photon mapping' on in the brazil rendersettings, place some brazil lights and set them to caustics photomapping too and your done. Easy as pie. :)
