Im going for a 10x10 city block scape.. then i plan on posting it in my store and perhaps some low res models in the free stuff... please tell me what you think. - James

pretty damned good, the only thing i would suggest, as I already have started on this on the footsteps of the distopia thing is to intrude the actual building blocks a bit to make sidewalks. When you're starting this you'll need to have the vista in your mind.. is it going to be futuristic, is it going to be contemporary? if it's contemporary and it has cars, then you also better have sidewalks ;)

just general thinking and planning. as for the backgrounds and everything else, unless you want to make EVERY single block like that, is to look up the greeble plugin for 3ds max and copy the technique. it will be a godsend :)

I like where you are going with this! :o) There's a lot more work to this than meets the eye, and I can appreciate how much effort goes into this. Keep on posting! I would love to see this as it grows and grows!
