Description
this is my first attempt at painting a portrait in photoshop. i got my tablet a couple of weeks ago and my fingers have been itching to do one of these! this was kind of a test, just to see if i could get lighting and stuff right. the hair i threw in very quick--which ill probably re-do later. thanks to ravnheart and sking for posting their awesome painting, kind of motivated me to do this. comments and crits are welcome!!!

Very good, wish I could paint like this. The basics are down pat - lighting, outline of facial features even the expression is pretty good. I am sure with this new technique that in the coming weeks you will hone your skills and make us all drool.
