BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

"They are lying down, the great ones. The bolts are fallen; the fastenings are placed. The crowds and people are quiet. The open gates are (now) closed. The gods of the land and the goddesses of the land, Shamash, Sin, Adad, and Ishtar, Have betaken themselves to sleep in heaven. They are not pronouncing judgment; They are not deciding things. Veiled is the night; The temple and the most holy places are quiet and dark." Prayer to the Gods of Night
