Well, the "spiral" is made in Spiralizer. Rendering done in Bryce 5 and then some post in Photoshop 7. The texture on the spiral is a cloud texture and I've placed a light source in the middle of it. The light source is what creates the colors and the pattern. That's how it's made :) And thanks for the comments :)
