Description

I left for SXSW in search of candid pics of the D-4,or possibly The Datsuns. Maybe even a few stage pics of the "NEXT BIG THING". Austin is such an amazing city.I always feel like I am on a quest, but yet still @ home. The vibe is so electrifying but calm. SXSW is such an intense experience with all the hustle and bustle of music industry reps, celebrities, and raw undiscovered talent. The energy just flows through the streets. You hear it ringing in your ears long after you leave the club. If you close your eyes you can still see it.You breathe it. When I went home this year, I didn't leave with pictures of Elijah Wood, or Hot Hot Heat. I had pictures of street people. The man in my picture carried a bearded dolly. They sang songs and laughed and joked with the tourists for spare change. I am ashamed to say that I didn't even ask for their names or autographs. Next trip back, I am getting autographs.
