A for fun session i did today.... ~4 hours of work All in XSI 3.01

Incredible work. I like how the eyes appear closer together and how they seem to fill the entire socket, gives the character a very "soul-full" look. I admire your attention to the skin textures. Will you be revisiting this render with some sub-surface scattering to give his skin some slight translucency?

Heyas Moe, thank you for your observations man:) about the SSS i am still trying to find a decent way to achieve it in XSI and Mental Ray.. this head has no shaders at all just maps. cheers mate loggie
