I have two cats - Thor and Bast. Obviously, I have a love and fasination with mythology. So, I decided to create an image of the Eqyptian Goddess Bast. Now, before anyone starts pointing out the inconsistancies and errors, I want to say that I made very little effort to be historically accurate. All I was interested in was the fact that Bast was often depicted as a woman with a cat's head and was never shown with domesticated cats, but with large, wild cats. Everything else is just for looks.
