Description

The inspiration for this was Ralph Vaughn Williams` beautiful piece based on 16th century sacred music. I`ve tried to combime the solemnity, grandeur and sense of calm that the music evokes. Thanks for viewing and Your comments.

Beautiful mood builder. One of my CD's ("Thomas Tallis, The Complete English Anthems", The Tallis Scholars, Gimel 454907-2) includes the Tallis work that inspired Vaughan Williams. The original theme is from the third of Tallis' "Nine Tunes for Archbishop Parker's Psalter".
