Description

I downloaded the new version of FractalExplorer the other day and played a bit with it. This image started as the usual Mandelbrot thing, then I just pulled sliders, changed numbers and so on. Once I got a result I liked, I loaded the image into one of the many stand alone filters from Antonio Da Cruz, called PhotoFiltre. All his programs are free and are absolute fantastic! I then tried various things in this filter program. The last touch was done in PicturePublisher 8, which has a wonderful frame maker option - the stars are just a frame. Oh and the water ripple was done in PP8 too with another free plug in, but I don't remember which one - I have too many of them... If you want to try your hands too, here are the URLs for the two programs: FractalExplorer http://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/ PhotoFiltre http://www.photofiltre.com/ (UI is in French but with a little trying you'll get around) P.S. The pixelation is a result of the filter used and not cause I might have blown up the image or whatever...
