Me too, the idea is really special.

The whole idea of a skeleton as outline of a model in this case as ribbons plays with space as two sided. Next would be the mountains seen as stopes and shafts of mines with the creatures solid. The way water is (as clouds) or is not (as flesh) alone gives fantasy to the color values.
