Terrific work here! The concept, modeling, lighting and overall execution is awesome. You've achieved a very dark and really intense image with just the right amount of elements.
The only tiny criticism I have is the way the "blood" is pooling at the base of the vase. It's extremely difficult to capture the vicosity of blood, so it might help watching some maple syrup while it's pouring, a bit thicker but gives you a pretty good idea of what should be happening.

My only suggestion is to fix the puddle on the ground... looks kinda weird. Otherwise it reminds me of the flower scene in the movie Pink Floyd The Wall where they flowers make love then the female flower consumes the male flower.
