Description
The following is an excerpt from "Harry Potter and The Big Bad Thing", the 22nd Book in the series. (I have connections. Please don't tell J.K. Rowling about this)

He hadn't been back in London for a very long time. A new quest brought him to Flourish & Blotts Bookstore, in Diagon Alley, looking for a certain book on ancient power stones. As he searched, Harry heard the sound of high heels on the hardwood floor going back and forth somewhere in the shop. Suddenly, the clicking stopped and a soft voice called. "Harry?"
Looking up, he saw an attractive young woman in a red dress. The same familiar awkward feeling welled up, as he wondered what clever thing to say. It was probably just another admirer. No doubt, more interested in his scar and his celebrity status than him.
"Harry? Is that really you?" she said, squinting.
The voice, the hair, the large green eyes. Something was familiar about her. "Hermione?" He said outloud, not wanting to, because it couldn't be Hermione. The woman grinned and walked right up to him, throwing her arms around his neck and giving him a warm hug. His right hand balanced the book he was holding and the left found her waist. She smelled nice. Very nice. Like wysteria and her hair of peach. When she stepped back, a bit embarrassed that she had done what she had, Hermione primped her hair and asked how he was.
"F-fine." Harry said, finally coming to the realization that this lovely woman and his Hogwart's schoolmate from eight years ago, were one in the same. They had drifted apart, exchanging only Christmas cards now and Harry wondered why he had allowed that to happen. Then he recalled her wedding announcement with a slight sigh. Then there was his trip to Africa and things just continued to keep them apart.
After a few pleasantries, Harry asked what she was doing there. "I work here.", she chirped back. Harry nodded, somehow thinking Hermione would have been working somewhere a little more important. "Actually, I bought the place last year. I've always loved books, you know."
He nodded again, smiling at his assumption. Harry felt a strange, constant tremble in his chest, kind of like when his scar would throb, but in a good way. He gulped several times and interrupted Hermione who was rapidly trying to fill him in on everything that had happened in the past few years. "Say, would you like to go have a cup of tea, or something?".
They stared at one another for a couple of awkward seconds and Hermione shrugged. "Sure. That would be quite nice."
They talked as Hermione prepared to lock the shop up. Harry waited patiently, hoping to have a chance to ask what he most wanted to know. "Uh, do you live in London now?" he said and scratched his head. She pointed upstairs. "Me and my two cats. I'm redecorating". Harry nodded and twitched his mouth back and forth. "I thought you were married."
"Never worked out." Hermione answered, flipping the "Closed" sign on the door. "Never even made it to the church. He got cold feet." she smiled and opened the door. Nodding, Harry almost smiled back, but expressed his sympathy. Locking the shop, they turned toward the Leaky Cauldron Inn and Hermione slipped her arm in Harry's.

great job 'dot! must be hard weaving story and image so they mutually support one another, but rewarding in the result!
