Description
This is an earlier rendering of my full body modeling attempt. The head wasn't finished so I made some kind hood out of fur to hide this fact.

The detail is amazing

I love the hood...but the face is incredible. One thing though if I cover up each eye they just seem to be looking in different directions. Could just be me.

Superb modeling & texturing, truelly realistic. Only thing that I feel seems wierd are the eyes, they need more depth. I haven't ventured into face modeling or eyes so I can't give any suggestions. But I do love this work!

Lovely work. I agree about the eyes though.

.....the skintex a photo (uv map)?

The eyes are fine. The 'hood' thing needs resolving... Nice face though!

whos complaining, it looks good to me, you made it yourself right!? with the eyes, just a simple target object for them to both stare at will get them right. nice one fella
Lauriegamemaster
very nice, the face texture is very grainy but it still looks nice

The Eyes seem to look in the wrong direction because of the form of the eyelids. If you look at asians like lucy liu, as everybody knows from ally mcbeal or charlie's angels, they often seem to have their eyes crossed, although they haven't. This head is rendered with a target objet pretty far away to minimize the weird appearance. I could place the eyeballs a bit more outwards or change the form of the eyelids. The texture is a photo mapped with simple plain mapping, no uv-map. By the way this is just a test rendering. So the graininess will be dealt with soon. :-) For some more complete model take a look at my gallery. The hood is polygon hair, so more resolution poses a serious problem with my RAM (512 MB). The hair consists of about 300000 polys. ALBEDO (MCML)

Wow, so on!

Poor little woman, you gave her a hood made out of a porcupine... When doing the final render, try to work out the eyebrows a bit, they look like those tattooed on elder people who lose theirs due to aging... But I'm sure you put that on your checklist already!
