Description
I model the old Silicon Graphic Logotype, render in Cinema 4D and HDRI.
I think DOF is shit in this program, is possible to notice when use higher setting. Maybe Maxon will make this better in future?

Ma DOF impeccabile se usi l'Advanced Render Module. Sei sicuro di aver regolato correttamente i parametri del 'render settings' (anche senza il modulo)... In ogni caso l'immagine veramente carina.

Well, great model and rendering, but I think the DOF is really great in v8 (maybe you use some older version)!

I thanks for the coments. I mean DOF is not like real camera. I used Bryce and DOF is better reality than C4D, but is more time to render. In some area of the image there is a problem in transition of DOF and not DOF areas, blur is strange. Maybe I post image in the future to explain better.

DOF - Have you tried doing this in Photoshop instead? DOF is just focusing one's attention on a part anyway... Select the image with the circle shape, with a 50 feather value, then invert the selection, and do a Gaussian blur.

Yes, looks good idea, but I like not to change the image, use only 1 software since beginning to end, no manipulation. Thank for the advise anyway, and forgive my bad english. To JDDOG: I am not from Italy, Just fan of the godfather movie, so I chose this user name! However I think I understand what you write, but I can not reply in Italian!
