The pov is a little short in my opinion (needs more depth), but everything else is excellent : textures, terrain, atm, light... and mood !

"Lack of Vegetation" = Arid Zone after which my state was named: "Arizona". Many places here which look like this. Very realistic including the atmosphere and terrain. Nice work Lutz.
