Description

I was so busy concentrating on my target and trying to catch a flicker of movement in the shadowy corridor that I nearly tripped over the still form on the floor. Glancing down, my stomach twisted painfully. "Taylor to Control," I whispered tersely into the mike, "I've found Ericson." My searching fingers sought and failed to find a flutter of pulse in Keith Ericson's neck. I fought the urge to close my eyes in grief. "You..." I swallowed, hard trying not to think of Keith's wife and two little boys. "You can raise the casuality number to four." After a moment's delay the response came. "We copy...damnit." The last word was more of a breath of pain than a sound. A pause then Cassandra Blackhawk continued in a brisk voice. "Sensors are down in your current location but there is no indication that the target has left the sector." "Most of the lights are out too," I muttered and then looked up sharply. I'd heard something... **************************** A story based loosely on a RPG campaign I'm trying to illustrate. Agent Michaela "Mike" Taylor is my RPG character. The lighting in this drove me crazy, and I'm still not 100% satisfied. Awesome image Daio, love the lighting, from one Taylor to another! (Small bit of trivia for the few SturkWurk groupies, my middle name is Taylor) I'm still waiting to see someone come up with some custom maps for the halo gauntlet.

Ooh, nice! Mike's face and pose are excellent. Eh, lighting's a pain no matter what media you're using. I'm tickled you're working Cass into your story!
