Description

Playing with my new V2 mink character and ZenMan53186's WildWaves P5 hair from the marketplace. This is the first time I've tried to use the Hair Room for anything more complex than a mohawk, and I have to say the result is worth the time, IMHO. Soon as I upgrade to a P4 3.0 and 2GB of RAM, I doubt I'll ever use any other type of hair again! On my current system, though (P4 1.8, 512MB) this took about seven hours to complete AFTER posing - five to calculate all the hair positions, and two to render. Comments/suggestions are always welcome! And if you want to see more of Calliope, let me know! *T* EDIT: Forgot to turn my Adobe gamma on and my laptop rendered it out too dark, so I did a little post to lighten the levels a bit - check the thumb versus the actual to see the difference.

well, the hair was worth all the effort... looks almost like a photo. The cat is cute but either needs some fur or a skin texture for the body. I usually hate this type of character, but she really does grow on me. I look 4ward to see her ongoing adventures.
