Description

PHEW! I've been messing with this for days, and finally settled on it! No less than 4 figures - the most I've ever used. I was gonna use a volumteric atmosphere but I had problems with the haze/fog levels - everytime I tried to set them I kept getting a damn thick white line on the horizon. Even with no fog and little haze the line was visible. If I turn fog/haze off, the line goes. If I change the camera height I have to redo the whole scene! It was still visible even on the Broadcast setting. So in the end I settled with a standard atmosphere instead. I kinda have a love/hate relationship with volumetrics....how in the world do you avoid getting that white line on the horizon when using fog/haze??? Anyway, sorry about that :P Credits: Poser male figures by Daz Row boat by KattMan - Freestuff http://home.carolina.rr.com/kattman) Vicky 2 P4 figure by Daz - on the yacht ;) Andromeda Hair by Daz Cecillia texture used on the woman on the yacht, by Briggie :D Ladder on yacht made by me in Amapi3D Oar used on row boat, also made by me in Amapi3D Everything else included in Vue d'Esprit Cheers JoeBlack

As usual, you've done an excellent sky. The scene looks great. I haven't used much volumetric atmospheres, so maybe someone else can help you there.

Can't answer your question on the horizon line but I think this sky is great for this image!

I really like the style of this scene. Your camera angle is perfect. Looks like a postcard from Tahiti... you don't need volumetrics on this one.

Excellent one. I like the sepia tone of the whole image. Gives it a little antiqueness.
