Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

The background is exceptional and the texture on the face on the left brilliant. The addings of the objects is very effective. My only point of difference is the somewhat frame the objects form yet it is empty. Stunning image.

It must be difficult to go from traditional art to digital without loosing the Soul of a painting/composition. Somehow you have mastered this, but few do.
