Description
This image is a tribute to the Dutch graphic artist Mauritis Cornelis Escher (1898 - 1972).
I tried to reproduce in 3D, a section of his artwork called "Metamorphosis II" created by Escher in 1939.

Hey, don't you know that Escher is one of my favourite artists? I don't like too much the sky, and maybe the shadows are too dark. But for the rest it's a great work! I love especially the tearrain and the sea:-)

It ain't as easy as it looks..;) I did 'Klimmen und Dallern' recently, and couldn't get the walkways to match up..;) this is very good, can't have too much Escher around..keep it up.

Nice image! I think the lighting needs a little adjustment to reduce the dark shadows. This will give it a more natural look. Keep up the good work.

I had to dig up my old "The Graphic Work of M.C. Escher" for reference.. Looks great.

Thanks for all the comments, I do agree that the shadows were too dark, and I got it lighter. I'm not crazy about Carrara's skys, I'll try to photograph one and create a dome for this. But it will definitely take some time...
