I really like this POV and am wondering what I can do to improve the image overall.

Pov and terrain are really beautiful. Try to improve your surface work a bit. A few more layers and a separate shoreline would be nice. :-) Great done anyway.

Agree with HeikoH: a shoreline would be great; also you can render in 1280x980 and resize to 1024x768 or 800x600, with a little "sharpen": the result is always better... Go on!! :-)
