Description
All women at some time or another have to face the eternal question, "What's for Dinner". Now can you possible imagine what that question poses for Pandora? When she approaches the dinning room table and the stainless steel lid is sitting there on the plate, what fears or delights race across her mind? For is this not just another form of box? Wen she lifts the lid what will be let lose this time?
This is a small detail from a drawing or several drawing that will explore that very question. But I am soon leaving to go play in the south, no computers for a bit. I wanted to share these drawings with my friends however, because of the delightful textures from victorias who has generously let me peek and use them.
Her textures are a wonderful perplexity to me. They are exciting, filled with passion and the assurance of craving desire. Courageous and potent are the ladies that wear them, yet each has a fragility and softness underlying them. Her dual sets explore the duality of the feminine, part incubus or beast, part cherub and elegance, and so much more.
A myth among men has it that women are filled with endless little voices narrating or seeking, explaining this or that. This too is I am attempting to ponder in the drawings dealing with Pandora.
Oh yes Koshini by Lady Little fox, one has to love that woman.

She is starting to look a bit more resigned to the situation. Your lighting on this one is excellent! I love the outfit. Diane
