Description
This one is for Sambucus, love your spider macro's. I've mixed feelings about spiders, beautifull but also scary! Tried to put some of my emotions in this photo with photoshop!?

I like the colours in this picture, but I don't think you should have brightened up the legs, and torso that hard. Other than that...it's an excellent picture :-)

I`ve photographed this species, Brachypelma smithii, dozens of times but the treatment you have given it makes this outstanding. Thanks for the dedication, PapaGuru.

I think you're title says it all: on one hand, the postwork on this makes it almost surreal, alien...which I think looks very cool. That in turn makes me want to see the original version, which is probably just as good. Excellent work.

I've worked with this spider,I think you have honnored her with the beauty that she truely is,your phot's bring tears to my eye's,they touch me deeply, with the things I hold the dearest to my heart, you give them such beauty, maybe someone will be not so afraid of something so beautifull,I love this so much, I miss the creatures to care for them is an honnour, teven the yellow jaket & bee, I'm deathly allerject to,the next time, they say there's know way I'll live if I get stung once more, but I still love them, the lunar moth, where did you find one?? thats a dream for me,to see one this life time thank you from my very soul,

nice postwork - really does make it feel more threathening - highlighting the legs brings out the arachnaphobia in me! perhaps a tad tighter selection on the upper legs as the lightness translates to the ground. nevertheless, avery evocative pic:o)

Quite impressive! I love what you did...the bold colors, the special lighting...it feels as though it will jump off my monitor and perhaps splash into my coffee cup! LOL! I like your beginnings very much!
