I use Daz Studio to create my 3D art and for Modeling I use Wings3D.
I started off with using Bryce 3D in 1998 creating scenes for an Idea I had for an animated movie called "the City of Alviera"Â
Featuring a young man from earth who was accidently  transported to an alien world in the middle of a war that has lasted for 20 earth years and it becomes his task to end the war.
This story has been put aside for the time but as technology advances I may brush the dust off this and start again.
In 2002 I started using a program called Poser. Â This program is a 3D Character program that allows you to work with characters for your scene and animate them.
It was not until 2010 that I started using Daz Studio and is now my primary application to use. It is an impressive application that allows for easy scene creation and animation. Â it will be the primary application I use when re creating Alviera.

Rochr
Excellent WIP! I see lots of potential for this piece. Just watch the scale on those ships in comparison with the stairs. Looking forward to the final piece! :)

Great stuff so far, especially the textures.

And a promising WIP it is. If you allow me one suggestion, remove the space ships and concentrate on the architecture.

So far it looks really cool! Rochr's right, the scale could be the only problem. Excellent work.
