What I've done since yesterday (PS 7):
/Fixed the background.
/Highlighted the characters with lighten and darken layer effects.
/Made an ambient light (red) with soft light-layer effect and toned it.
/Darkened the background a little bit.
I got it to nice phase but I'm not sure if it's ready yet. Don't like the background so much and I think it needs a richer color palette.

Well, it looks good to me :) Maybe a bit more action in the background (sort of shade shifting) will add some depth to the image (if that's what you're looking for). However, since the title is "Ballet of Lost Worlds" I assume it's memory related and memories are always 2D and lack depth ;)

the work is looking so luminous now, the transparency on the ballerina dress is brilliant, super interesting the way u are developing this work, and all the tips are a praise to keep ;0]

You might be right with your ideas to make the image better - I can't judge it before I see it. But so far this is an excellent work!

Syn's words are hard to beat aren't they? :) I like what I see so far :) but maybe a twist in the background colour would add some depth :)
