I would put some wooden beams over the dark areas on your ceiling where the texture tiles. You need to rotate the textures on your window as well. It looks bad. I'd make the fireplace a tad deeper. I'd also put a small chair rail on top of the boards on the bottom half of your wall. As well as a whatchicallit, baseboard where the boards meet the floor. The lighting is good. It's just all detail work now.

This is a good effort with max, your textures do need some work though, the repeated ceiling and floor textures are not a good idea, dont be afraid to create different textures from old and make good use of the bump mapping feature in max, this creates some suprising effects but most of all experiment, experiment, well done

Generally in agreement with the comments above. The only area letting this image down slightly is the repetitiveness of the floor and ceiling. Texture's nice, just looks a bit stripey. Otherwise really good! Especially like the walls and the light from the window.

I agree with the above comments. The textures are a little flat.Need more bump on the cieling, floor and fireplace. The lamp also is a little big for that table, and looks too new.I don't see a cord for it either.Overall a good job.
