Description

From the Book of Apophysis - textures, shades and frame by Ultrafractal 3.02 The ring of power belonging to Sauron who had it from his king, Morgoth Bauglir whom was cast into the abyss between the stars by Illuvitar after his defeat at the hands of the elven Eldar of Valinor.... - As first beheld on a rocky river bottom by Smeagol, who was swimming with his brother, Deagol. Strangely, Deagol drowned that day - Could the ring have, even then, been asserting it's foul influence?.... ...one ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.... - thanks for looking! :>)

This is just phenomenal, Rykk! So dramatic and realistic, you could almost reach out and steal it!

Hi Rykk! This is a wonderful, imaginative piece. While one's attention is immediately drawn to the center, the rest of the image is equally fantastic. My only complaint? I wish it was Bigger! :-)

I'm late getting here, but I can only agree with the others and say this is a wonderful image!! The dark outer edges only accentuate the center! Wonderful job, Rick!
