Well here's the updated render...15 hours and that' was on a 2400+XP processor...sigh it will never be fast enuff,i keep makin it more complex....modelled some grass using applique for this and also some extremely hi poly spikes for the top of the fence...my own fault i knoe...comments welcome

It's a vast improvement on the first version. The only thing I don't like is that the vehicle is a little too clean...

well nuno,thanz,but as i said previously,maybe not here,is that it was originally an attempt at recreation/replication,based on a catalogue picture that was brand shiny new...looks like i gotta dirty it up or i'll be sayin this forever...lol....stay posted

Very nice update, I like the "clean" look myself, you said it was supposed to be a "catalouge" picture, and so it is. But I must ask, what makes it take 15 hours? The shadows alone? I see nothing else of the usual suspects of long renders, i.e. glass and/or reflectives, I can see that the grass might take time. Very good picture. I need to start postin myself soon :-)

Dhurgan,...i suspect the infamous "octree volume".as the poly size from object to object varies quite radically and that jumps it up a bit plus there's million of polys as i kinda went res nuts...and yes please do post...it's startin t look like the bobby stahr gallery in here as opposed to the Imagine gallery...lol
