Description

Thought I'd upload this. It's a few months old but represents my first fairly successful attempt at Max modeling, texturing and biped application. It's lo poly, which should explain it's boxyness. Would appreciate any positive critique. Thanx.

I would personally make the chin less pointy, but for the rest: Great!

This one was about 2000 polys I think. I was told that that's about right for a next-gen character model but not sure. Can anyone confirm that?...

between 1500 and 2000 is ok. just be careful when having skirts or flowing clothes with lo poly stuff. they can be hard to get working nicely when u go to physique and animate. also u should have more detail in your maps. In photoshop use burn for low spots and dodge for high spots. great model though! keep it up.
