Description

Small vacation over last weekend. The upshot of it all, is a half-case of wonderful Iron Horse Reserve "Late Disgorged" sparkling wine ... Quite competitve with Champagne, and made right here, within 10m of this spot. -*- Same rough Painter 7 procedure I use on closeups, but the pink foxglove plants needed something more and took most of the time to get them believable. Start with Cloning a copy, run through "Woodcut" effect, then go to work with "Loaded Palette Knife" and" Smeary Bristle Cloner". -*- Anybody got a spare 55-gallon drum of caviar?

awww :9 very lovely image :) the larger and wide view is so relaxing and charming :) a very good work :)the only thing that slightly distracts are the top of the tree in the horizon line.. those are not smudged, and they break the soft quality of the rest of the image :) Still a minor trouble, in sucha beauty, though :)

Jim, ure artwork is so tactile! Quite amazing how this image makes u wanna reach out and feel the softness of the foreground. It looks almost like mohair! Beautiful and calming!

Well, I know oil painting; And if you pull down on the trees and then dry brush them out, They will turn out just like your trees on the horizon. I think it's absolutely perfect tech.

Wow, beautiful scene!!! It has some Van Gogh-ish strokes to it, and Monet-ish colors. Brilliant work!
